Mentmor is a self catering house built in the Cape Dutch Architectural style, unique to Cape. Mentmor is located in Hermanus, Onrus and is situated one and a half hours from Cape Town.
The establishment is 5 min walking distance from the Onrus lagoon which offers safe swimming for your children and is very popular during the summer holidays. The beach is also a favourite spot for surfers. The establishment is cosy during the winter periods with a wood burning stove in the lounge & underfloor heating in the dining room.

Wine Tasting
The host, William Everson is a garagiste winemaker that produces his own wines (www.eversonwine.co.za) and offers a wine tasting of his own wines with request at the house at an arranged cost per tasting.
By arrangement, you can experience a personalised tour of the vineyards located in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley, where you can even meet up with some of the local winemakers.
The Lagoon
Onrus was originally built around the lagoon and provides a peaceful holiday retreat, which in recent years expanded to include shopping, galleries and cosy, romantic eating places, while still retaining its old charm.
Whales
Walk along the rocky coast and spot the whales from July – December.

High Season
16th January-30th April/1stAugust -14th December - R1500 per day
Low Season
1st May- 31st July - R1000 per day
